Umit, which means Hope in Turkish, is the name of our company. First established by 3 brothers in 1955 it is now run by father and son. Umit have the very proud distinction of remaining the most senior established textile business in the whole of Istanbul. Umits quality and experience speaks for itself.

We will also create your own personal design. We have confidently supplied the trade for over fifty years. Our inspiration and innovation is taken from this beautiful world we live in.
Autumn 2005 saw the successful launch of our pure silk range of material for ties and waist jackets.
We also produce badges and labels of all shapes and sizes, we have many samples for you to choose from.

Polyester is a wonderful fabric to have as a tie or waist jacket. Why, because you can put it in the washing machine and it comes out perfect. By the way the machine should not be higher than 30 degrees. Polyester requires no ironing. Polyester never loses its colour.
